They don't exist except in deranged minds. End of story...

You have to be a complete simpleton to believe in anything supernatural. Ghost, poltergeists, aliens, everything can be explained.

It's all electrical signals interpreted by your brain.

Telekinesis I 100% believe in as I've experienced this myself. Although I wouldn't say this was supernatural but maybe scientific in nature. Also Poltergueist activity could be explained by this as its often related to teenage trauma.

No ghosts or generally seeing dead people. That's bullshit.

“Jumpin Jack Flash Its a Gas,Gas Gas”

The word gas is a neologism first used by the early 17th-century Flemish chemist J.B. van Helmont. Van Helmont's word appears to have been simply a phonetic transcription of the Greek word χάος Chaos – the g in Dutch being pronounced like ch in "loch" – in which case Van Helmont was simply following the established alchemical usage first attested in the works of Paracelsus.

According to Paracelsus's terminology, chaos meant something like "ultra-rarefied water".
An alternative story is that Van Helmont's word is corrupted from gahst (or geist), signifying a ghost or spirit.
This was because certain gases suggested a supernatural origin, such as from their ability to cause death, extinguish flames, and to occur in "mines, bottom of wells, churchyards and other lonely places".

"Hello" is a remix single by The Beloved. "Hello" appears on the Happiness album. By peaking at #19 in the UK, on 5 January 1990, it was, at the time, their highest-charting single.

Interesting lyric and video

So welcome to the world, yeah
All you late-comers
Just step onboard
I'm happy, glad you came
So welcome home again!

Plus, don't forget, evolution has programmed us to "see something there", just in case it's a predator.

We - not even YOU - are not that far from monkeys just down from the trees in Simbaland.

When I was sixteen I worked for an engineering firm in an old, former fire station which some of the more gullible amongst us swore was haunted. Anyway I'd been sitting at a work station doing some tedious job for about seven hours when I could've sworn some old man's hand grabbed me by the shoulder and shook me.

It momentarily shit me up because it seemed so real, however when I'd gathered my senses, I realised I'd momentarily fallen asleep and dreamt the incident which woke me with a jolt.

If I'd really wanted ghosts to exist, that would've been my contact with the paranormal and the opportunity to confirm its existence, but luckily my brain accepts the far more likely, more logical conclusion, it was just a fucking dream.

Re: Paranormal / ghosthunts
As far as the CCTV thing goes, two problems:
1. Most coverage is of pisspoor quality and is ignored virtually immediately. Plenty of ‘odd’ footage exists. Plenty that is inexplicable. But it is regarded as fake.

2. Photoshop and video editing have made visual proof virtually redundant. Even if hundreds witnessed something and it was on live tv, most would claim it to be fake.

On the lab evidence bit, paracetamol, amongst many drugs, would not be approved if lab evidence were the only proof. Check medical texts. Much of it is anecdotal and test based via human response and perception of whether it worked or not.

In the end, it is difficult to prove a belief. That’s what faith is for.

Had a number of weird experiences and put most of them down to a trick of the light, or my shite eyesight, or waking dreams. I still find it all fascinating.

Just to prod the mind, check out this with an open mind.

Not true.

A long time ago(!) when I was in my late 20s I was going through a very hard time in a disintegrating relationship with the father of my children. I was alone in the house, lying on the sofa with my back to the room, crying, completely distraught. I felt the physical sensation of someone lie down on the sofa with me and put their arms around me. The actual physical sensation/pressure. I heard some comforting words (can't remember exactly what was 'said'). My body froze/stiffened and it jogged me out of my crying fit. There wasn't a fucking ghost in the room. I realised at once it was something my brain created during a period of stress, anguish and self pity. Nothing more to it than that.

No point in ever talking to none believers in this sort of thing. The only time they ever change is if something happens to themselves that changes their mind.

I believe now, I've just seen a few spectral figures in the west ham centre mid and central defence. Must have spectral as the Bournemouth players just walked through them.

How come, with all this CCTV around, and the fact that virtually everybody further down the food chain has a camera-equipped smartphone, that YouTube is not flooded with video clips of hauntings - and flying saucers/aliens, for that matter. Or anti-matter.

Our house has a few spirits.you can hear them talking sometimes, sounds like people on the tv but it's not.Can hear their footsteps at times. You can sometimes see them in the corner of your eye.

Just those that never went down the tunnel of light at death for whatever reason..

Jesus, if you walk around an old derelict building in the pitch black in the middle of the night then of course you are going to get spooked. Then when you have the fucking nob-ends who are running it getting spooked its obviously going to do the same to you.

But, in the cold light of day, we all know its all bollocks.
